A Study on the Utilization of School Health Clinic in a Primary School

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study was to identify the utilization of school health clinic in a primary school.
The data were collected health clinic records in a W. primary school in Kyungju city from February to December, 1991.
This study was investigated the number, sex-degree, a day of the week, major problem, month major problem, sex major problem of the clinic visitors and the correeation of the each variance.
The data were anali7ed by. S.P.S.S. program (%, x2-test, Pearson correlation coefficient). The results were as follows:
1. Total number of the clinic visitors was 3,209 cases.
In sexual difference, male was higher than female and sex-degree utilization was significant (Sig. = .0000).
2. On a day of the week, Friday was the most.
3. In major problem, wound was the most and there was significant (Sig.= .0000).
4. In utilization among the month. major problem, the wounds in June and May were the most and there was significant (Sig. .0000).
5. In sex major problem, wound was the most both male and female and there was significant (Sig,= .0000).
6. In the correlation of the each variance, there was inversely related to sex-subject (-0.0879), subject. major problem (-.0747), sex major problem (-.0540).
